Ingredients

puffed rice2 cups
boiled potato1 small
(peeled and diced)
onion1 small
(finely chopped)
tomato1 small
(finely chopped)
green chili1
(finely chopped)
fresh cilantro2 tbsp
(chopped)
tamarind chutney2 tbsp
green chutney1 tbsp
sev0.25 cup
(for garnish)
lemon juice1 tbsp
saltto taste

Directions

Assemble the Mix

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine puffed rice, diced potato, onion, tomato, and green chili.
  2. Add tamarind chutney, green chutney, lemon juice, salt, and chaat masala.
  3. Mix everything together quickly and thoroughly using your hands or a spoon.

Serve Immediately

  1. Transfer to individual serving plates or bowls.
  2. Top with chopped cilantro and a generous sprinkle of sev.
  3. Serve right away while still crispy.
Chef's tip: Once chutneys are added, bhel puri softens quickly—assemble just before serving for the perfect crunch.
